Lion Bansko Hotel

Can't recommend highly enough for a walk in evening

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a lovely breakfast buffet that included hot items and a coffee shop for a quick pick-me-up before hitting the slopes.

Very clean and warm rooms, good breakfast

It is difficult to park your car near the hotel, spa and pool services are not in the price, you have to pay extra for pool, slives, bathrobe, sauna. In check out you must pay in leva or credit, not in euro.

The hotel is pleasant, has efficient staff at all times. The rooms are a nice size on the upper floors. The location of the venue in Bansko is good, not far from all the attraction in the are, Very close to all the shop and gondola and bars and restaurants. Plus, it is set 2 km from Bansko Municipality.

Their breakfast is poor, can be way much better.

The location was convenient, close to the city center.

The cold temperatures in the room made it uncomfortable, and the reception staff struggled to communicate. The slow check-in process left me waiting longer than expected after a long journey, and despite staying for one night, I still found the spa facilities inadequate and often overcrowded.

I liked the spacious rooms, the cleanliness of the hotel and the free wi - fi!!

I did not like the fact that I had to pay for some extra services which in other hotels are free , such as the use of the swimming pool.

Great service, good spa center, good breakfast, friendly staff. I was compensated for the mansard room with late checkout.

The first night stayed in an mansard room, which was smaller, with smaller bathroom, no hair dryer in the bathroom and the price was the same as normal room. The cleaning staff got into the room with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door.

The Lion Bansko Hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with spacious and well-decorated common areas. The spa facilities were particularly good after a day of skiing.

Improved Wi-Fi would greatly enhance the experience.

The location of the hotel is great, it is near the ski lift. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

Bathrobes are charging 10 eur in a hotel with 4 stars!

The room's noise from slamming doors and raucous guests in the hallway can be a real disruption on late nights. The inconsistent hot water supply during peak times left me scrambling after a long day of skiing, and the food often lacked the freshness and variety expected. The gym facilities were not up to par, with several broken machines that hindered workouts, and the shuttle service occasionally ran late, frustrating when waiting to hit the slopes.

Staff were not able to handle issues with making payment, when their card system was down, they demanded cash payment!

staff hardly helps you if you ask about Bansko. Pool was cold!

I found the Lion Hotel to be well-located, about a 10-minute walk from the gondola, although not ideal for walking in ski boots. The shuttle service to and from the gondola runs regularly, made skiing convenient. The swimming pool and spa facilities were a nice touch. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety but leaned heavily towards meat options. A few more healthy choices like yogurt or fruit would be appreciated. The evening meals fell short, with limited options and some dishes served cold. My room was decent, clean, and spacious, although I did deal with a consistently malfunctioning key card that was quite frustrating. The experience had its ups and downs, but the amenities and helpful shuttle service were great.
